Chicken Sandwich With Mayo Dip




It is  one of very much liked dish in our family.Stuffed spicy chicken bread and the combination with mayonnaise dip make it delicious . This recipe is perfect appetiser for home parties , morning breakfast ,evening snacks and even kids in tiffins  ,and is good idea for picnic parcels as well.

Ingredient....
  1. Bread slice 1 paket
  2. Boiled and shredded chicken half kg
  3. Schezwan sauce 1-2 tb-spoons
  4. Edible oil 1tsp
  5. Red chilly powder 1tsp
  6. Coriander powder 1tsp
  7. Garam masala 1tsp
  8. Turmeric 1tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Crushed red chilly/chilly flakes 1tsp
  11. Pizza mix/oregano  1tsp
  12. Sliced cheese 5-6
  13. Grated cheese 3-4 cubes
  14. Chopped onion 1
  15. Chopped carrots 1
  16. Chopped capsicum 1
  17. Chopped coriander leaves 2-3 tb-sp
For Mayo Dip
  1. Mayonnaise 
  2. Tomato ketchup

Take shredded chicken in a bowl .


To it add schezwan sauce or chutney.


Add in red chilly powder , salt , coriander powder, garam masala  and saute for 1 min in 1 tsp of oil.


Add in soya sauce  and mix well.


Take out the mixture in a bowl.


Sprinkle crushed red chilly .


Sprinkle pizza mix.


Add some chopped coriander leaves .


Chopped onion , carrots , capsicum , schezwan chutney , butter and cheese slice....Keep them ready.


Arrange four breads in a plate or a pin.


Apply butter to all of them.


Spread shredded chicken on it.


Place chopped  veggies of your choice. 
You can also add  lettuce leaves,sliced tomatoes and sliced cucumber.


Cut the cheese slice in to four parts (triangle). Place cheese slice and keep space in between the cheese slice so that while grilling, cheese will not come out. 


Spread schezwan chutney on another slice of bread.


Invert the schezwan  bread on the stuffing and apply butter to its outer side.


Place the sandwich (butter facing downward) on the electric grilling machine or sandwich maker.


Close the lid and allow it to grill till the green button of sandwich maker switches off.


Open and check if done , bread turns to golden brown in colour and smells tempting.


Take out in a serving plate.




Spread Grated cheese on it .


Sprinkle some oregano and crushed chilly /chilly flakes on it.

For making creamy dip ....


Take equal quantity of mayonnaise and tomato ketchup sauce in a bowl and mix to form a creamy dip.Add some oregano and chilly flakes to it.

Oreo Brownie / Chocolate Brownie





Brownies are generally loved by everyone . Here is the simplest way of making brownie and that too with  very few ingredients.

Ingredient....
  1. Oreo biscuits 3
  2. Baking powder 1 pinch
  3. Water to adjust the consistency 4-5 spoons approx.You can use milk as well instead of water.
For making chocolate sauce
  1. Dark compound chocolate 
  2. Milk

Melt dark compound chocolate in a bowl by heating it on high for 1-2 min , to it add hot milk and mix to make sauce.


Take 3 oreo biscuits in a mixer grinder .


Add pinch baking powder to it...


Add little water


Grind to a smooth paste,not too thick and not too runny.


Grease the silicon moulds pour the batter in.


Place in microwave.


 Microwave on high for 30 sec.


Cool it completely.


demold it .






Pour the hot chocolate sauce.


Enjoy hot brownies with chilled icecream.


Serve hot brownie on top or below ice cream in both the ways it tastes awesome.

Medu vada








It is  most popular south Indian dish served with idli sambar. These fried cakes can be eaten during for break fast ,lunch , snack or dinner. These are loved by children and are good idea for tiffins.

Ingredient....
  1. Urad dal/ Split white lentil 3 cups
  2. 4-5 tbspoon yellow moong dal
  3. Water enough for soaking 
  4. Salt

Soak  lentil in water  for 4-5 hrs, take in mixer grinder , then grind into a smooth paste by adding very little water and ferment overnight .




Well fermented batter look like this with enough aeration. To this i have add salt and jeera to make simple vadas.you can also add chopped onion ,chopped chillies,chopped coriander leaves or any other spices of your choice. Then mix properly.


heat oil in a kadhai.

wet your fingers 


 take a small amount on your fingers.


flaten it with your finger tips.


dip your index finger in water


make a hole in the centre 

place in hot oil 


\

serve hot mendu vada with tomato chutney and sambar.
