Parle -G Biscuit cake

Ingredients

  1. Parle -G biscuit 1 pkt
  2. milk  half a cup
  3. vanilla essence
  4. sugar 1-2 tsp
  5. Eno 1 sacchet
  6. Nuts of your choice

Procedure

  1. Crush one packet of parle –G  biscuit of rs 10/- in mixture.
  2.  Add little milk and essence
  3.  Add sugar if required
  4.   Keep water for boiling in a cooker or steamer.
  5.   Grease tin with oil or ghee or butter.
  6.   When water starts boiling in steamer,add one full sachet of plain         Eno .(blue colour pkt).    Mix the batter and immediately  pour in        tin ,spread the nuts on it, and  put tin in the steamer  (do not cover the tin.)
  7.     Place the lid of steamer / cooker without whistle.
  8.    Steam for 15-25 min on medium flame.
  9.  Cool the cake completely .
  10.  You can also frost this cake as shown in the picture.
  11.  Try this recipe using any biscuit like hide and seek,marie,oreo....etc.


(Note. 1) Do not try baking this cake.
           2)You can also add 1-2 tbsp of cocoa powder and chocochips in the batter before steaming.)




















Chocolate truffle cake




Ingredients

  1. (Dry ingredients)
  2. 1   cup Maida  
  3. ¼ cup cocoa powder
  4. 1 Tspoon baking powder
  5. ½ Tspoon soda


  6. (Wet ingredients)
  7. 50 gm butter
  8.  ¼ cup sugar powder 
  9.  ½ cup condensed milk
  10. ¼ Tspoon vanilla extract
  11. Soda water/milk

Procedure.

STEP 1
1 cup Maida   +  ¼ cup cocoa powder + 1 Tspoon baking powder + ½ Tspoon soda
STEP 2
50 gm butter + ¼ cup sugar powder + ½ cup condensed milk + ¼  spoon vanilla extract
STEP 3
Mix both dry and wet ingredients (STEP 1+STEP 2)
STEP4
Adjust the consistency by adding slowly soda water/milk
STEP 5
Grease a baking tin or place a butter paper in tin & pour a batter in tin.
STEP 6
Bake in preheated empty cooker for 25-30 min without whistle.
Or bake in preheated oven at 180˚C for 30 min.

To make Chocolate truffle:
1 cup melted dark chocolate + 2-3Tbspoon warm milk.Make smooth mixture towards liquid consistency.

STEP 7
slice the chocolate sponge cake of 2 inch height.Now place one slice on the turn table,sprinkle some sugar syrup to add moisture to the cake,now place the other slice and go on and finally cover the whole cake  with the frosting .Cover the chocolate sponge cake with whiped cream .
With the help of star nozle in piping bag pour  in the whiped cream(frosting) and make design on the cake as shown in the pic,

STEP 8

Pour prepared chocolate truffle on the frosted cake let it drip down the cake as shown in the pic.
 and make the flower border with the help of star nozle to give finishing.

Black forest cake
































Ingredients

(Dry ingredients)
1   cup Maida 
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 Tspoon baking powder
½ Tspoon soda
 (Wet ingredients)
50 gm butter
 ¼ cup sugar powder 
 ½ cup condensed milk
¼ Tspoon caramel colour
¼ Tspoon chocolate essence
¼ Tspoon rum essence
¼ Tspoon coffee essence/instant coffee
Soda water/milk

Procedure...

STEP 1
1   cup Maida   + ¼ cup cocoa powder +  1 Tspoon baking powder + ½ Tspoon soda
STEP 2
50 gm butter + ¼ cup sugar powder + ½ cup condensed milk + ¼ Tspoon caramel colour+ ¼ Tspoon chocolate essence + ¼ Tspoon rum essence + ¼ Tspoon cofee essence/instant coffee
STEP 3
Mix both dry and wet ingredients (STEP 1+STEP 2)
STEP4
Adjust the consistency by adding slowly soda water/milk
STEP 5
Grease a baking tin or place a butter paper in tin & pour a batter in tin.
STEP 6
Bake in preheated empty cooker for 25-30 min on medium to low flame without whistle.
Or bake in preheated oven at 180˚C for 30 min.

HOW TO DO FROSTING?
250 ml whipping cream                      
                 +
Equal quantity sugar
                ↓
Whisk by using beater till it becomes smooth and stiff
(Note: check it by inserting knife and the standing knife indicates the perfect peak )
                ↓
Frosting is ready

STEP 7
slice the cake of 2 inch height.Now place one slice on the turn table,sprinkle some sugar syrup to add moisture to the cake,now place the other slice and go on and finally cover the whole cake  with the frosting .

STEP 8
Peel the dark chocolate slab with the help of peeler and sprinkle the chocolate on and side of the the frosted cake , further with the help of star nozle in piping bag pour  in the whiped cream(frosting) and make design on the cake as shown in the pic,

STEP 9 
Decorate the cake with red cherries.

Chocolate frosting:
Melt 1 cup chocolate, add 2 tbsp of milk and 250 ml ofwhipping cream  and whisk it till the soft peak is formed.
Use this as toping or in piping bag for designing.




Burf Ka Gola




Its summer ,very hot so what about having  burf ka gola .Every body loves gola and  it is kids favorite.So lets get refresh with mint gola....

Ingredients


  1. Lemon 1
  2. Granulated sugar 1 cup
  3. Colour (any colour,i used green)
  4. Jeera powder 1tsp
  5. salt just a pinch
  6. Lukewarm Water 4 cups
  7. Mint leaves paste 1 spoon
  8. Plastic glasses
  9. Sticks
  10. Aluminium foil
Procedure...
  1. In a jug mix in lemon juice,sugar,water,colour, jeera /cumin powder , salt , mint paste and stir well .let the sugar dissolve completely.
  2. Strain the juice with cotton cloth,so that mint particles are removed. 
  3. Fill the juice in the plastic glasses.
  4. Cover the glasses with aluminium foil and insert the sticks as shown in the pic.
  5. Keep in the freezer for 4-5 hours.
  6. Remove from freezer,hold the bottom of plastic glass below the running tap water so that gola loosen up and leaves the glass.
  7. Gently hold the stick and remove the gola.
