Sabudana Vada



Sabudana vada is loved by all of us.It is a crispy delicious Maharashtrian snacks usally made by deep frying spiced sabudana /sago with potato .These are prefered  during fast like Navratri , Ekadashi,Shivratri.....It is served with sweetened yogurt or coconut chutney .

Ingredient.....
  1. Overnight soaked sabudana/sago -1 cup
  2. Peanuts roasted and coursely grounded-2-3 tbspoon
  3. Potatoes 2 (boiled and smashed)
  4. Cumin seeds /jeera -1 tspoon
  5. Green chilly chopped - 1-2 OR Red chilly powder -1 tbspoons
  6. Corainder leaves-1 tbspoon
  7. Oil for deep frying

Soak sago over night.
Add in smashed boiled potatoes.
Ingoes chopped green chillies,corainderleaves/kothambir,cumin seeds,salt and coursely ground roasted peanut.
Mix alltogether.

Make small tikkies of the mixture.
Heat an oil in a voke and deep fry these tikkies in small batches.
Fry till crispy and golden brown.

Serve hot with sweet yogurt.
